01 — THE BRAND

Brand & workshop

Who we are, how we work, and what's in our watches.

What is a Seiko Mod?

A Seiko Mod watch is a Seiko watch that has been redesigned in the workshop by a watchmaker or enthusiast. Modifications are made to the dial, hands, strap, and sometimes the case or internal components. The Seiko movement remains, but its look becomes unique.

At Sharp Mod, each piece is redesigned by hand so that no two are alike.

Are you affiliated with Seiko?

No. We use genuine Seiko movements for their recognized quality and reliability, but our watches are entirely customized by our workshop and are not officially affiliated with Seiko.

Are the movements you use genuine?

Yes, 100%. We use Seiko and Miyota automatic movements—such as the NH35, NH38, NH70—as well as VK63 meca-quartz movements. All are renowned for their exceptional reliability and long-lasting performance.

02 — CREATE MY WATCH

Configurator & customization

Everything about composing a piece that reflects you.

Can I customize my watch?

Yes, absolutely. Go to the "Create my watch" page to explore the available configurators and design a model that suits you. You can also choose from our existing models, or contact us on Instagram to request a completely bespoke combination.

I like a model, but I'd prefer a different dial.

No problem. Most of our models accept a different dial via the "Create my watch" page. If the desired combination does not appear in the configurator, contact us via the contact form or on Instagram: we will look into what is possible with you.

How does the configurator work?

Everything happens on the "Create my watch" page, in three steps.

1. Choose the base model to customize.

2. On the same page, choose every component: the case, the strap, the dial and the hands; depending on the model, the bezel, seconds hand, date, diameter or see-through case back are added. The watch updates on screen with every choice.

3. Add it to your cart. We hand-assemble it in our Paris workshop and ship it within 15 to 25 days.

03 — ORDER & DELIVERY

Ordering, delivery & returns

Pricing, delivery, tracking, invoicing, returns: what happens between your click and your wrist.

Is delivery free?

No. Shipping is free wherever we deliver: in France, to your home or a pickup point, and internationally. We do not ship to the United States.

Allow 3 to 5 business days in transit after dispatch.

What are the delivery times?

An in-stock watch, or a SharpPixel (custom or not), ships within 48 hours. A Seiko mod configured with "Create my watch", or a watch not in stock, is assembled to order and ships within 15 to 25 days, the time it takes to gather the components and assemble your watch. Then allow 3 to 5 business days in transit.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we deliver throughout the European Union and to most countries worldwide. One current exception: the United States, due to new import regulations.

How can I track my package?

Once shipped, you will receive an email with your Colissimo or Mondial Relay tracking number, depending on the delivery method chosen.

Where can I find my invoice?

An invoice is sent to you by email upon order confirmation. You will also find a paper copy in the package upon delivery.

Can I return or exchange an item?

You have 14 days after receipt to return an item free of charge, provided it is undamaged, unworn, in its original packaging, and with all its tags. This policy applies to all our watches, the custom SharpPixel included, except Seiko mods configured with "Create my watch": assembled to your choices, they cannot be withdrawn from.

In case of a damaged package or delivery issue, we will cover the exchange costs. For any inquiries, please write to us at contact@sharpmod.fr — the return address will be provided to you.

04 — WARRANTY & AFTER-SALES SERVICE

Warranty & after-sales service

What's covered, how to reach after-sales service, and our tips to make your watch last.

Are your watches covered by a warranty?

Yes. Our watches are covered by the 2-year legal warranty. If a manufacturing defect or malfunction occurs—and is not due to misuse or intervention on your part—we will cover the return, repair, and re-shipment entirely at our expense.

If the problem results from an impact, mishandling, or external modification, the warranty will not apply.

Can I adjust the size of my watch?

Yes. An adjustment kit is included with each watch to easily adapt the strap to your wrist: a fine screwdriver and pin removers. If you prefer us to do it, write to us: we'll take care of the adjustment before shipping.

How do I reach after-sales service?

A single point of contact: directly with the workshop. Write to us at contact@sharpmod.fr or send a direct message to @sharp.mod describing the problem (ideally with a photo). We will get back to you within 24-48 business hours with the next steps.

How should I look after my watch?

A Sharp Mod watch is designed for everyday wear. Here are a few simple precautions to ensure its longevity:

  • Avoid direct impacts to the case and crystal.
  • Rinse the strap with fresh water after exposure to seawater or chlorine.
  • Do not open the case back yourself: the water resistance depends on the gasket, it is better to entrust us with battery replacement or servicing.
  • For an automatic movement, wear it regularly or use a watch winder to keep it active.

NEED A HAND?
