The SharpTona chronograph

The SharpTona is our chronograph: three sub-dials, two pushers to start, stop and reset, and a bezel that frames it all. The range runs from the most understated, like the panda contrast of a white dial with black sub-dials, to the boldest, with sunburst dials and zircon-set bezels.

Every SharpTona runs on a Seiko VK63 meca-quartz movement: quartz precision for the time, a mechanical module for the chronograph, with a sweeping seconds hand and a crisp reset to zero. The case measures 40 mm across and 12 mm thick, most often in 316L steel under scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. Steel bracelet or rubber strap depending on the model. Expect ¥44,800.

The SharpTona is for anyone who wants a chronograph with character, worn every day, at the office or at the weekend. Each piece is hand-assembled in our Paris workshop, then checked and adjusted before shipping. Want to choose the dial, hands and strap yourself? Start from the SharpTona base on Create my own watch. Delivery, returns, warranty: the answers are in our FAQ.

Frequently asked questions

How does the SharpTona chronograph work?

The top pusher starts and stops the chronograph, the bottom one resets it. The Seiko VK63 keeps time with quartz precision, and its mechanical module makes the chronograph seconds hand sweep.

Does a SharpTona need winding?

No. The VK63 runs on a battery: the watch keeps going even when you are not wearing it. When the battery runs out, write to us: it is better to let us replace it than to open the caseback yourself.

Can I create my own SharpTona?

Yes. On Create my own watch, choose the SharpTona base, then the dial, hands, strap and the other components on offer. Your watch is assembled to order and ships within 15 to 25 days. As it is made to your specifications, it carries no right of withdrawal.
